ANET Internet Solutions was founded in 1995, in Chicago, IL. ANET grew quickly during the Internet boom, avoiding most of the mistakes of our competitors. Although times have been tough for most telecom and Internet companies over the last several years. ANET has not only managed to weather the storm, but has grown and prospered. ANET has acquired 8 competing ISPs over the past four years, growing and diversifying our subscriber base and network reach, making ANET the largest independently-owned and operated ISP in the Chicagoland market. ANET currently provides high-speed broadband access to over 5000 tenants of various Multi Tenant Unit buildings and business complexes in the greater Chicagoland area including One Superior Place, Park Millennium and Grand Plaza. Building sizes range from 25 tenants to 1000 tenants per building and are served with various technologies ranging from traditional 10/100M Ethernet, Long Reach Ethernet, Fiber, DSL and Wireless.

ANET Operates Data Centers in Naperville and Chicago

Our new Chicago data center is an 10,000 square foot Grade A Telco facility with several gigabits of bandwidth coming in from 5 different fiber carriers. As a true a carrier-neutral facility the fact that we’re not beholden to any particular carrier results in improved reliability and flexibility with both ISP and enterprise clients. Most existing data center customers have learned that being captive to a single carrier is dangerous in today’s telecom market. Our multi-homed network built on Cisco 12000 GSR routers and is capable delivering service from T1/T3 and 100Mb Ethernet to Optical services such as OC3, OC12 and OC48.

Our new managed server center is maintained by ANET employees 24/7/365. With a 500Kva and 175Kva UPS you can count on ANET to keep your equipment powered up even in extended power outages. Clients can utilize the new data center to take advantage of dedicated ANET-managed servers, they can co-locate their own of servers, or choose bundled options that include broadband connections and a mix of other services such as network security, management and monitoring.
